The Polygraph is used in cases of sexual abuse, forensic expertise and courts, since both physical and psychological abuse, as well as sexual abuse, are crimes classified in our criminal code that cause serious psychological effects to those who suffer them. As it is obvious, the law provides actions that serve as protection for the victims of these crimes, and that are executed as prevention even before the trial against the alleged perpetrator takes place.

In cases of this type, a psychological evaluation that assesses these effects and/or a psychological expert report to be presented in the judicial process is essential.

Regarding false accusations, in addition to the importance of a psychological evaluation, it is necessary to evaluate the documentation on which the accusation is based.
